The final rounds of the 2019/2020 Munster League were played on Sunday October 23rd in the Charleville Park Hotel. Division 2 Round 9 kicked off at 12:00 noon with Round 10 at 4:00 pm.
The team standings after the first eight rounds are shown below. Galway were leading on 7 match points ahead of Charleville on 6.5 points. Tralee had indicated that they would not be able to field a team for the final two rounds as they had just started meeting again and had lost some existing team members. However they are attracting new members and expect to play in the 2022 / 2023 league.

In Round 9 Charleville had a 5-0 walkover against Tralee while Galway beat Dungarvan by 4.5-0.5. This left Galway still leading on 8.0 match points with 34 game points. Charlevile were just behind on 7.5 match points with 30.5 game points.
In the final round Galway and Charleville were scheduled to meet in the decisive match. Both were well clear of Ennis B and Cork B.
Charleville scored a 3.0-2.0 win over Galway moving them to 8.5 match points i.e. a half point ahead of Galway. The final standings can be seen in the table below and on the full match results page here
